one year behind us....

Today marks one year since my father died. In so many ways it seems like only yesterday. Our hearts are heavy as we miss him so much but so grateful he no longer suffers any pain.
My father had a good sense of humor one of his traits I am so pleased to have. He was stern when needed. Taught us good values. He was not without fault as he was human . I am proud he was my Daddy .

  2. Hi Audrey,
I am sure it is hard for your family. Having memories is the next best thing I suppose.
I hope that you will continue to let the Lord help you heal. It is no easy thing to lose a loved one.
    Blessings,
    Renee

  5. My Dad has been gone almost 25 years. His death was sudden and unexpected. It was so not an easy loss especially to "Daddy's Little Girl",(I was his oldest and he sang that to me often) So many memories will come back at the silliest times and as you say, he wasn't without faults either, the GOOD stuff wins out every time. My biggest regret is that he never got to meet one of his grandchildren or any of his greats. They all missed a lot...

My very warm thoughts are with you and your family today, Audrey...God Bless...

  6. Audrey sweet memories are a gift. You will always miss him. Try to be grateful for what you had, and not sad about what you lost. Some people never had a good Dad.You were blessed.
